Michał Zieliński still exists in minds of the current generation thanks to numerous efforts which aim at memorialising his life and work. It can be, for example, three plaques: two in Jarosław and one in Ostróda. A big role in restoring the memory of MichałZieliński is played by the Festival of Native Song (Festiwal Piosenki Ojczystej im. Michała Zielińskiego "Serce w plecaku") which takes place every year. Moreover, some publications about his life and compositions have been written. In our school in Jarosław, Zieliński was also memorialised by creating a special edition of the school newspaper as well as by placing essential information on a noticeboard. Additionally, some students painted a mural which remindstheir schoolmates about this famous man.
